I'm not a nature poet, but... reading on Zoom

On May 17, Georgia Poetry in the Parks poets Diamond Forde, Sean Hill, and Christina Olson took part in a virtual reading and conversation, moderated by Georgia Poet Laureate Chelsea Rathburn.

When Rathburn began contacting poets for Georgia Poetry in the Parks, she heard two frequent objections: “I’m not a nature poet, but…” and “My work tends to be darker than what you probably have in mind.” Embracing those objections, this event gathered three Georgia poets reading and conversation about writing the darker side of nature.
