Bio:
Komal Mathew is a Gujarati-American writer from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and Sarah Lawrence College. Her poetry collection, For Daughters Who Walk Out Like Sons, won the Zone 3 Press First Book Award for Poetry. Her poem have appeared in Beloit Poetry Journal, Narrative, The New Republic, Poetry, and elsewhere. She lives with her family in Smyrna, Georgia.
