Bio:

Laurel Faye is a poet from Macon with more recent ties to the town of Senoia. She received her bachelors in French from the University of West Georgia and is currently an MFA candidate in poetry with the New Writer’s Project at the University of Texas, Austin. She is the winner of the 12th Nazim Hikmet poetry festival prize through Duke University and the Turkish American association, and her work has been featured in The Jewish Literary Journal, Sanctuary, The Sonora Review, The Atlanta Review, Bahr and the anthology Hasret/Longing.
